This is the exact discussion I was hoping to draw out. You make it sounds like its something easy they could just turn on if they really wanted to. I'm not privy enough to know those things. However, what I am seeing is a Nissan that is in its death throws. They are in full on cost-cutting mode to try to save their brand. Article about Nissans new plan I don't see it happening. The real question is if Nissan DID add the Z32 to the program what parts would we want them to make? There isn't many things that my Z needs right now that I can't already buy. To me what sticks out are the interior (Seats, rear panels, dashboards, finishers) and the weatherstrips and moldings. I think it would be cool to be able to restore a Z32 piece by piece with all OEM Parts similar to a Singer Porsche restos. Could you imagine dropping a zero mile Nissan VG30DETT longblock into a restored Z?
